About

I am currently the President of WhiteGallagher, Inc., a real estate team in Roanoke, VA, specializing in residential home sales, new construction, and land sales. I have also recently started a residential construction company called Plantation Homes, LLC. My team is a recognized leader in the Roanoke Valley real estate market after just a short period of time in the real estate business. In the team’s three years, the WhiteGallagher team is in the top 5% of performers in the Roanoke Valley. More recently, I was voted the Top Realtor in Southwest County for 2009 by the readers of SWoCo magazine.

I started my career in the manufacturing industry with Cooper Industries in 1992 and moved to Tuthill Corporation in the year 2000. I quickly developed our division into the company’s most productive and profitable group. In 2003 I was promoted to division President of Tuthill Transfer Systems(TTS), a multi-million dollar, global manufacturer of fluid transfer products with operations in the United States, Europe, and Latin America and sales offices around the world. Under my leadership, TTS was the market leader and produced results such as 50+% Return on Assets, increased sales of 60%, and increased asset turns by over 500%, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction AND bringing more jobs into the company versus outsourcing. I also designed and implemented leadership development programs for the over 300 employees such as TTS University and the first Leadership In Manufacturing(LIM) development program designed to introduce and develop high potential employees and college recruits into business and community leaders. After 14 rewarding years in manufacturing, I made the decision to leave Tuthill at the height of its performance and take my knowledge in and passion for continuous improvement and leadership development into the real estate arena in 2006.

As a leader, I invest my time in myself and others as a reader, writer, and speaker. I have spoken to hundreds of college students about my values based leadership style in my speech titled: “So, You Want to Land a Job.”

I received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University in 1992. Along with my wife, Chris, and our two young sons Brendan and Joseph, we currently reside in Roanoke, VA.
